Hi, the new firmware freezes when updating the jukebox (index.htm)....
Any suggestions?

I can load the Jukebox, but,when a try to start a film, the player frezzes...

PS: I am surprised about your quality tests, have you ever tested it ?

YAMJ has been tested here as well and it's working. We tried older jukeboxes and newer ones. No problems in starting movies here so please check again or re-install the ac ryan jukebox. Therefore you can:
1. install yamj 2.0 installer from our homepage
2. remove the /lib and /properties frolder from the installation dir on your hdd
3. get the newest yamj update see this post: YAMJ 2.5.1
4. afterwards create a new jukebox and re-check

Also please note that we are updating the forum firmware topics shortly so you can post your experiences there.

Will there be real fixes and improvements for Yamj implementation one day?

Updating yamj freezes here too. Well, in fact on 1 hdd it reboots the unit and on the other it goes back to main menu. Then, when launching the jukebox, movies are still there but not sure if it's the last jukebox saved on the box. Unfortunately, on 1 index, the Year menu is empty now.
I'm using Yamj 2.5.1 r2754.

I'll quote myself again with some useless remarks regarding SDK4 and Yamj:

- Slow browsing.
- No categories (New movies,Top movies, etc...).
- Very bad files parsing (special characters, accented letters ...) causing empty lists, movies not starting, and lot of headaches.
- Genre not displayed in detail page.
- Titles are cut in detail page.
- No Genre in detail page.
- Not able to browse per page.
- No shortcut to index.htm
- Default fonts are small.

Critical bugs such as reboots and bad parsing not solved in 6 months is unbelievable. Could you please release at least Yamj implementation source code?

Did you investigate the general slowness that seems related to DvdPlayer process eating 90% CPU that a user already pointed?

Subs/idx subtitles aren't still detected. A crappy solution is to put an empty .srt file to access them.

Shortcuts at the head of the list is a good thing, thank you. However, renaming them seems impossible. You have to edit the FavLink_USB file manually. Was it the expected behavior?

Why don't you enable a debug log file on external hdd to see what's wrong for Yamj updating process for example? Would be good to find errors for users and maybe coders.

I'm now at Firmware_PV73200_v7.4.x.r5440 without problems. You suggest me to update or stay at current formware ? thank you.
