• Create a "resource” folder in the root directory of your USB drive
• Place your desired TrueTypeFont and rename it to “font.ttf”
• Changes will take place when font is selected or automatically on boot up
6. Add Pin Protection option in Setup – Misc menu

• Protects the Copy menu with a password when option is turned on
7. Add Browser Mode option in Setup – Misc menu

• Option to display browser viewing in Preview Off / Preview / List
8. Fix flickering of info message during music playback when title is too long
9. Fix unable to resume playback when display is switched to 24p mode
10. Fix loading of Jukebox from network location

As for the audio portion, sad to say there isn't any improvements. (might not be improved with the next release on SDK3.X platform). We are working with a new platform at this moment for the audio fix. Thus this still requires some time for our developers to fully digest the codes and changes. Thus, we do hope that the community would understand our stand at this moment.

How to update this firmware:

It is the same as all SDK3.X platform requires, please update your PV73200 to r3582 before proceeding to update with this firmware.

Example, from r2898, you need to first update it to r3582 before proceeding to r4415.

For those, already on r4090 or r3582, you could directly update to r4415.

We strongly recommend users to perform System Update instead of Safe Mode Reflash.

Junwei: I believe new users (like me) are less likely to be confused about which version is the newest since you now include the full version number. So please keep up the new way of naming the threads.

It fixed a the few troublesome mkvs I had so thank you so much for that!

I discovered the list mode for browsing which greatly improves navigation on my Lan. It sure is great. It doesn't display the path properly on the top of the screen, and there is some empty space on the bottom of the screen which might have been better used to display more of the folder contents, but I love it.

The gui feels more responsive to the remote now. Has browsing been optimized somehow?

I don't understand how folder protection is supposed to work. The gfx with four boxes and no text is not helpful, and I can't get it to do anything anyway... It just fails.

The system time is gone. I can't find neither manual or internet time. Maybe it's for the best. I don't really need for the mini to know what time it is anyway.

The option for changing the system font: I don't really need to switch the font, but I would have liked to be able to reduce the size. More room for text. And the font is more than big enough for my 37"

Great! I have to try it. It fixes the mkv bug I see, so it is an important update.

Yes, and it also fixes the thumbgen/ThumbScanner issue. And this works as well in the new list mode: just press the slow button.

Minor critics on list mode:
- Path is not completely displayed in "header"
- Why isn't the entire screen used? There is still 2-4 lines empty space at the bottom of the screen.

Still: I'm very glad with this FW version and it has improved compared to 3582, 4312 (old SDK) and 4090. Let's see in a week after more intensive use.
