Today AC Ryan has released a new firmware for the Playon!HD Essential. Revision 2688 is available from our support pages and will provide you the following upgrades/improvements:

1. Added an autorun function to playback your video or audio automatically after the unit is booted up
- Create an ‘autorun’ folder (all small letters) on your internal HDD/external storage device
- Place your media in the autorun folder in your own alphabetical order
- The media will automatically start playing in the same sequence when the unit is booted up
2. Added firmware compatibility with new Realtek 1055 chipset
3. Improved various menu language translations and OSD errors
4. Improved compatibility with various languages in ID3 tags
5. Fixed info bar unable to auto hide when displayed during video playback
6. Fixed wrong information displayed when a delete, copy or move operation is done
